Does anyone know if we're the home or visitor side for the purpose of purchasing tickets?

My sister & party of 6 are going; nice things to do in Atlanta, even if not warm...

I booked my hotel at the Marriott Century Center Emory...$99 a night, 8 miles from stadium, can take the shuttle to the MARTA station. Pretty happy! When do student tix go on sale? Any chance regular ticket prices go down?

Don't be afraid to ride Marta. It's fine for everywhere you are going. Just don't be a drunk idiot and you will be good to go and act like you know how to travel in a large metropolitan city.

I don't trust Uber. There could be a damn serial killer driving...

If you have problems trusting Uber then don't even consider MARTA.

Staying at the Hilton downtown, tickets in OM section. Pretty fired up.

Uber is always good and pretty fast. However, on most weekend nights and especially NYE there will be a surcharge. The night we played vandy in Nashville it cost be $180 to go to brentwood and back at 1 am.

Uber is out of my price range. MARTA is not.

We are staying at the intercontinental Buckhead. It's like 20 of us in our group. My 4 month old will dictate much of my trip

So I'll be driving down the night before the game. We're (a few guys) only staying one night, watching the game, then driving back home...

Is it safe to stay somewhere in west Atlanta and take the Marta from one of the west-most stations to the dome? Just trying to figure out which side of town we're least likely to get shanked.

Thanks

For the Boise game, we stayed at the Rennaissance Midtown. Marta was about two blocks away. Ate at Taco Mac and watched USC get destroyed by AM and then very quick and very easy trip south, switch trains to west, and about the first stop at Ga. Dome. Took about 10 minutes. After the game, the train was filled w/ OM and some Boise fans and very small amount of locals. No problems whatsoever. Great experience all the way around. I can't believe they are tearing Ga. Dome down. Great concourse w/ beer and food and places to step outside and smoke a cig.
