Alabama did not like CHF calling the plays with Bo and Chad at QB.

I think Freeze was actually a pretty darn good play caller and most of the so-called experts agree. Where he got a bad reputation was on those suspect calls a few times inside the 5 and 10 yard line and a time or two when it was 4th and 1 and we'd attempt a 15 yard pass. Outside of those, and granted they were pretty crippling at times, he did pretty good. I also think you'll see him again somewhere down the road, and the first step towards doing that took place today with the apology he released.

A lot for Freeze depends on the NCAA. Right or wrong, if he's hit with a lengthy suspension, that will make him pretty toxic.

If we don't get another bowl ban and he isn't suspended, I say bring him back after the NCAA ruling. The melt would be glorious
