He has a coach who has no fricking clue what he is doing.

Kudos to the defense. Played a hell of a game and you could see the improvement.

As I've said all along. This offense is arse. It is 100% reliant on BS scores and running to space. Nothing about the scheme changed, even when it was evident late 2nd they had figured it out.

That was the most bizarre thing. Luke was just walking along the sidelines like he was taking a walk in the park checking out the birds while seconds were ticking down on the play clock. Shea looked like he had seen a ghost!

Shea looked like he was about to cry. Our Oline sucked for him, we lost his number one target and best WR, but he held on to the ball forever, and I think he did mentally break down at the end.

That is all Matt Luke has done in all of games. I don't think he knows what he's supposed to do besides get all of the players and coaches to the field on time.

Matt Luke looked absolutely terrified the whole game. Looked like he had no clue what to do. In summary, he looked like Ed Orgeron. This showed longo's scheme is not fit for big boy football. The coaching and players at this level are too good to run the same plays over and over again and expect them to work. Cal made adjustments at halftime and we did not. We had no discipline and this clearly showed Luke can't even be considered a candidate anymore. Offer norvell or Chad Morris right now.

We sure didn't look prepared offensively. Maybe the distractions are just that. Never seen so many penalties and how does your kicker pull his hamstring on an extra point?

We run 4 plays. That's a problem.

I was willing to give Luke a chance and see what he could do this season. Because the next years we are gonna need some OM faithful get us through the hard times.

But last night quickly changed my mind.

Play calling went to shite..We completely forgot how to take deep shots in the 2nd half...

No back shoulder. No down field 50/50 balls.. fricking 6 yard slants or throws all the way across the fricking field for 7 yards with guys in the Wr's back pocket..

End of the game time running out what do we do? Shovel passes...

If we had easily taken care of South Alabama and Martin the first two weeks, I'd be willing to write last night off a little easier. However, we had to leave our starters in and struggle way too much those first couple weeks and then last night we just got outplayed and outcoached. So, we could officially be in trouble the rest of the way now. We were ragged in so many areas last night and we are incredibly thin and it's obvious the right injury or two cripples us. So undisciplined offensively. What an understatement.

Hard to believe that after USA, Martin and Cal this teams needs a week off, but they definitely do. I never thought we'd fair very well at Alabama and Auburn and now that looks even more bleak, but you never know. Maybe we can find some confidence in at least good showings over there. I was really hoping this season would be pretty fair given what's likely coming the next few years, but we are gonna have to be way better than we were last night or I'll have to quit worrying about football.

When he double pumped the shovel pass in the 4th quarter you could see he was panicked. I hope the kid pulls it together. He's just a kid, after all, but it's gonna be tough for him.

His OL could not block for him after halftime. And we were getting 1.5 yards per carry. What else could he do?

Nothing. That's why he's gonna leave.

No QB is needed at Bama, State, Georgia, S. Car, Vandy or Florida

Would he go to LSU, Auburn, Aggy, Missouri, KY, or Tenn.

He ain't leaving.

I rewatched most of the game last night looking for the panic, extreme frustration body language in Shea somebody mentioned. This way I was able to look for differences between earlier in the game when things were going well and late when they were not. To be totally honest, I saw very little difference in his emotions and no panic whatsoever. Maybe I missed something, but I don't think so.

I meant at the very end of the game. When both our coaching staff and he locked up and we took a delay of game penalty. The commentators didn't really even comment on it. Everybody was looking to Luke for some guidance, and he was just doing that walk on the sidelines and it's as if he just said to himself, "Take the penalty and reset for the next play."

Yeah, not trying to argue, but I didn't see panic. Now I definitely will admit they shouldn't have just stood there and taken the penalty. The announcers were very puzzled as to why they were going for it instead of attempting a field goal albeit with a freshman kicker who wasn't expecting to kick at all when he got on the plane headed to Cali.
