He also had ball security issues.

I can't find any website that lists number of fumbles. Would be interesting to see his number compared to Mathers.

It's true. It's the same reason Walton and Mathers didn't play much their first two years. Jeff Scott was way better in pass protection.

I'm not sure what he is talking about quit reading. Its obvious.

So, Dodson couldn't make that step? I'm not very spoken about much on here, but Dodson is far from healthy attrition. Freeze could look me in the eyes and tell me that and I'd laugh. Just my opinion though.

Do you think dodson was head and shoulders better than any back we have?

If you asked me a month ago, I'd probably have said yes. Wilkins seems to be coming into his own. The problem is you guys are banking on Mitchell/Connor holding on for another 13 months. What if they both dip? What if Swinney doesn't pan out? After next season, we have Wilkins/Judd(who may not pan out)/Swinney/Brazley. That's Wilkins and three hopefuls. Sorry, that doesn't exactly make me feel all tingly inside. Again, JMO. Hopefully, Wilkins doesn't get hurt and all three of those guys live up to y'alls expectations. The same expectations y'all had for a guy that averaged 7 yards a carry even with that 80 yarder being called back.

So, my turn: Which stable is better: Wilkins/Dodson/Judd/Swinney/Brazley or Wilkins/Judd/Swinney/Brazley?

The fact that you used the word "stable" kind of shows how it not that big a deal. Plus, rb's are that not that hard to recruit.

If we lose these guys, I'm certain our staff can and will be recruiting someone else. As a matter of fact I'd go out on a limb and say both of those guys don't sign with us. That's just recruiting.

I'm disappointed that Dodson is transferring. Best of luck wherever he goes.

I fought Mark Dodson at The Library in July 2013 and whipped his arse. He was soft and had no chest.

I knew he'd eventually transfer.

Dodson was so great that the coaches gave him 10 more carries on the season than Eugene Brazely.

I'm just ready to see Judd in an SEC game. I have a good feeling about him. Missing out on Scarborough still hurts.

He only lost one, but he coughed up the ball several times.

Coaches aren't always right. Basketball, but best example...Terrico White. Byrdman is a good one. Hell, Derrick Jones last year. In a desperation move, they found out the position he should have been playing all along.

Best of luck to them. Maybe this will free up some scholarship space for a couple of O lineman. Now all we need is someone who can coach them...

Ancy-ya who else is going to get processed. A buddy told me it could be a QB and WR.. My guess is doss if he's not open to switching to LB and then I guess burdette?
