Damn...I've always thought Mark was the best back.

Me too. If Wilkins transfers too I may pass out.

I always thought mark was a good back, but he pissed me off last season when he wanted to burn his redshirt. Best of luck to him though

I highly doubt Wilkins is going anywhere.

As far as Dodson goes, there is more to being a RB than actually running the ball.

Healthy attrition.

Yeah I agree. He may be a good back but I don't think he's really that much better than 2-3 other guys on the team who appear to have much better attitudes. This is a good thing.

Wilkins bought in and redshirted. Dodson did not.

Kindly GTFO.

I agree with you about Dodson being our best back. I really thought he would end up getting the majority of the carries by the end of this year. As much as I like Dodson, I don't think the production out of our RB committee will be hurt by this.

Swinney coming in will make up for the loss, maybe not immediately but by the time Walton and Mathers leave. I think Swinney has a higher upsdide than Dodson.

I wouldn't mind us dropping another RB or two. I think Swinneybis gonna come in and be really good.

I think next year will be the Judd show.

Sprinkle in matters, Walton, and Jordan Wilkins.
Dodson could've been in a 5 man rotation somehow.. He saw the writing on the wall

You honestly can't be serious with this statement, right? Lol at thinking Walton and/or Mathers can block.

If you think Dodson is healthy attrition, el oh el.

Where did this rumor start? Wilkins will have two years after next season of being the feature back. He would be idiotic to transfer, sit out next year, and then play two years for a terrible team. He'll play a lot next year and then get to run behind Richmond, Taylor, Johnson, Patterson, Givens(or Rawlings, Putman, Howard, etc) for two years.

He was just responding to me about that. There're no rumors to Wilkins transferring, I just loved both Dodson and Wilkins. If JW leaves too I'll be bummed but I doubt he leaves.

I don't know who else we could let go besides Brazley. I think Brazley will help in the pass game once Walton is gone. He's pretty shifty and has good hands. Next year we are fine and we will be solid in 2016 with:
SR - Judd
JR - Wilkins & Brazley
SOPH - Swinney
FR - Mitchell & Conner

The younger three could do VERY well with the talent we will have on the OLine.

Mather's and Walton pass pro was much better than Dodson which is why he didn't play.

Dodson is the definition of healthy attrition. He never bought in and while he always was good at running the ball, he was the worst of all the running backs at pass pro. I don't have to believe it, his lack of playing time shows it.

He also had ball security issues.

It's true. It's the same reason Walton and Mathers didn't play much their first two years. Jeff Scott was way better in pass protection.

Agree. If we close strong, that extra scholarship will be value added.
