I'm trying real hard to figure out why any of us would still want Derrick Mason. He's a "defensive guru" whose team has now given up 201 points the last 4 weeks. Over 600 yards to us today. If you still want him, you have very low standards. And don't give me that talent level argument. It's BS.

Didn't hear many clamoring for him, but doubt he would want to leave Vandy for Ole Miss with us looking a freight train in the face..we will be ok regardless

Really? I mean, there are worse, yeah, but surely to God there are way better and willing for the right money. He's not left Vandy already because he's definitley maxed out on the head coaching thing and not sure anybody worth a shite wants him as a DC after the last 4 weeks.

His defenses the last seasons with Vandy were great and they were great at Stanford. I'll admit, the defense this year has looked like shite. Maybe he is too focused on the overall team rather than just the D.

If Freeze beats Mason in Nashville last year, he's likely our defensive coordinator right now. I think he's a good defensive coordinator. There's limited talent on that Vandy defense.

Not likely, he should have multiple offers..you guys really need to lower your aim..Frank from UTSA and Neil from Troy are more likely our ceiling right now
