They need to start allowing people to park on hwy 6 again.

No they don't. Anyone who knows the Ewing family doesn't agree.

It's a problem when you have tables, chairs, and 3 tents to tear down, with no car on campus to load up in, and everyone too drunk to drive.

Why don't you just pay someone to do it for you?

I'll just park at the mall movie theater and take the shuttle to the Grove with my cooler.

Is this the best shuttle "station"? (Not sure what to call it.) I planned on taking my nephew to the Ole Miss - Missouri game.

The only question I have is what do visiting fans do? They have no freaking clue where "off campus" starts and where to park. What if they park on campus. Will they be towed for being uninformed?

I was told that at 4:00am on gameday they will start towing all the cars that do not have the correct parking pass.

I always park on the square and ride the double decker with my cooler and cup in hand. Pretty impressive perspective of the Grove before I embark on the long journey of drunk social encounters and bathroom lines.

I was told that the shuttles for off campus will begin running one hour after the game ends. That would be 11 pm, I guess.

What if you have to leave the game. No shuttles? Call a taxi?

This seems like it's going to be a clusterfrick this year. Our ticket person has been saying that he has been dealing more with parking than tickets.

Yep. And it's going to eventually cut down on visitors as well because people aren't going to want to frick with finding a parking spot. I honestly don't see how the university thought this would be a good thing.

Somebody thought it was a way to make money. But we already had few parking spaces on campus and not so many in quaint Oxford.

Exactly. There's no way the City of Oxford is going to be able to accommodate all of the LSU or A&M fans in addition to our fans. Which is why I think the City of Oxford will tell Ole Miss that shite is a no go after this year.

A friend of mine who has a brother on the opd said that opd and campus police are already fighting about who handles what. Ole miss is going to lose so much money because of this. Could you imagine what would have happened if this was enforced during the Texas game last year. What really sucks is I live on old Taylor. That's where the real cluster is going to be. Over under this policy is killed by the third home game???

They have designated lots for fans off campus and I think that it's laughable that they think it's going to be able to accommodate fans. They're fricking insane if they think that.

In the past there were 5 gameday shuttles and two double decker buses. The owner said last year that there were buses that were not being used that could be such as the OUT buses. Also, he said that the cost to operate a bus was around 100 dollars an hour.

Hopefully, they utilize every bus possible because there is no way the 5 and 2 used last year will work this year

It's a bunch of bullshite IMO. I am really getting tired of OM making as much money as possible all the while fricking over students who already send them around $3500 a semester
