I do believe the person using this word is the one that is ignorant. It's spelled S.l.o.w.

The wife and I just moved here. Both originally from Grenada.
She just graduated medical school and started her residency at the hospital here.
I really like the town. It blows my mind how many more businesses there are here than in Grenada despite similar size and a much worse location.
Basically, outside of Jake and Rip's, Grenada sucks.

My SIL is a pediatrician at the hospital. Downtown has some great shops, and you're not that far from Pickwick. It's really not that bad of a town.

Nope, not at all.
Anything in MS looks like heaven to me right now, though. We've lived in Fort Worth, TX the past 3 years because I had a really good job with the railroad down there. I hated being that far from home, though.
It's nice to be back home, even if I can't find a jerb. :D

We typically go out around Eastport. My sister lifeguarded at JP this summer.

I'm from Grenada but I moved away....I feel for you man that town is terrible. There are way worse places in MS but Grenada is still as shithole. The only thing to do there is go to the Tiki Bar on Saturdays.....but I don't go because Rednecks from all the surrounding counties make a pilgrimage to the Tiki Bar every weekend....its like that for any function in Grenada.

We live in Corinth now. We grew up in Grenada.
