Well, it's all speculation at this point. MRI would be done if it was something that they thought was a serious issue, as that is the gold standard as far as diagnostics go. Apparently they cancelled it. Maybe he has an issue, maybe he had a stinger, or maybe he got his feelings hurt. One of the PT's on staff was in my class but I'm not asking him about it and then bringing it to a message board for multiple reasons. Hopefully he is fine and there is nothing to it. You have anything more to add?

Don't jump to conclusions. But they don't cancel an MRI on a player like him for the hell of it. If it turns out that it was "nothing", they will call it a stinger or something probably. If there is something to it tomorrow, I'm sure they will do an MRI.

I'm not talking about the MRI. I'm talking about him getting beat then quitting because he got his feelings hurt. That's not good having a left tackle that can't handle getting beat sometimes. What made Tunsil so great was when he got beat, it pissed him off but he got better because of it. He didn't storm off and say "I'm hurt"

Poster on rivals claiming to be pretty well in the know with the situation says Wilkens will indeed have to sit the year out...it was going through appeals process w NCAA and it was the poster's understanding that the appeal was denied....tfwiw

I don't know if that is what happened either. All I know is that if they cancelled an MRI, it was for a reason. Let's hope that the reason was that the "problem" wasn't a problem after a few minutes. I'm only making educated guesses at this point with what Info I have right now. I could dig deeper, but wouldn't be allowed to say anything even if I knew it right now

Probably just hurt it during a drill and today it started to feel better and he had ROM. Happens sometimes.

There's nothing official about Little being out for the year on the Spirit forums that I could find, but I haven't listened to any recordings released. This stuff regarding Wilkins does not put our academic support staff in the best light.
