That would be a shame.

I met Vitter on Tuesday night in Jacktown. Limp-wristed, can't string 2 sentences together, totally un-impressive. Have no idea why he was selected by IHL for $600,000.

He does not inspire confidence, unlike a Bob Khyat

Ross was proactive when he searched the rest of the phone records.

After Freeze lied about it to his face last week Ross was like: You know 100 reporters will be pouring over these records now....But Freeze stuck to his story. And then GAs in the Athletic Department found all kinds of other stuff.

And Freeze's multiple affairs had been common knowledge in Oxford for at least two years. So, No. Ross was not proactive. He kept fingers in his ears for far too long.

He didn't have to search them. He could've figured out they were escorts and told nobody.

God you are fricking stupid. Once Nutt's lawyers found one, every sports blogger in the country will be looking at those records.

Firing freeze actually shows strong control.

No. Waiting years to fire him after stating the administration had "total confidence that he was doing things the right way" when the consensus was that he was breaking every rule in the book. That's not strong control.

Will it mean anything? Probably not.

Wait. What? Are you high or just dumb?

Vitter was payback for Dan Jones. For years Jones told the IHL to get fricked. Like he didn't work for them. So they got sick of it and fired him. And then paid Ole Miss back by literally hiring the biggest douchebag they could get their hands on. At least Vitter won't tell the Board he works for to frick themselves like Jones did. This Freeze stuff is just the cherry on top.

The Nutt lawsuit was filed on 7/12. Our attorney notified the next day that a phone number looked sleazy. How did Nutt attorney already look over the 39000 numbers (I am told) that CHF had sent or received?

They spent months looking over those numbers before they filed the lawsuit.

rumors are now common knowledge in hindsight. Thanks for being the Monday morning QB we all need. Where were you posting all this for the past 2 years? Please tell us more about all your inside knowledge you've been keeping from us for 2 years.

Thought - Would we let Bjork even do the presser yesterday if we weren't standing behind him for the long haul? I was kinda shocked it wasn't just Vitter. I'm not sure how it helps us to delay Bjorks termination if that's the end game. Why not clean house and show initiative if that's what's going to happen eventually. I'm leaning toward him making it through, but WAOM and do stupid shite on the reg, so who knows.

I think you are confusing two different things. Nutt's lawyers only asked for records for a 6 day period. Certainly not 39000 calls in that time frame. That number is what Ross said they went back and looked through from the last 5 years.

Why would I post what I had heard about his marital infidelities on a message board? Are you retarded?

And I have been calling for him to be fired since the Draft Night Fiasco. Plenty of posts about my stance on that shite show.

who could we hire to convince studs that Ole Miss will still get them a worthy draft position?

The right move is to take a risk on a younger up and coming OC/DC who normally wouldn't get a shot at a SEC coaching gig this early

If ya'll go the interim route this year to wait to see what happens, I'd look at guys like Rhett Lashlee UConn OC (Former AU OC), Travaris Robinson (USCe DC) and Sterlin Gilbert USF OC (Former Texas OC)

All those guys are good recruiters, have had great OC/DC years but still are a couple years from their first small HC gig. They'd take a dumpster fire SEC gig if it has even a glimmer of hope / low expectations a la Bill Obrien
