Ya know..... this isn't a bad idea. The powder blues look better with the red jerseys than the navy helmets do.

Rather have the powder blue helmet back and only wear the the navy helmet with the navy jerseys.
Powder blue helmet looks better than the navy helmet with everything except the navy jersey.
Of course those were the standard helmets from when I began following the Rebels in 77 as a 12 year old.
I gave up Dixie at the games, I given up the Colonel and I understand the decision behind it and I am on board with it. So why can't we keep those dam helmets. Look at the popularity of the shirts, and it works well as a good accent color for the lady teams.
Do them once a year and auction them off every year if that's what it takes. I bet I get one next time.
The Memphis game really brought a few memories back, good and bad.

We've always played like shite in those helmets. Call me suspicious but I hate the damn things. Even this year... don't you remember how bad we played against Memphis?
