What a time to be a reb. Honestly pumped to have three competitive teams.

Beard is the best coach in the SEC outside maybe Cal
Kiffin is top 5 in the SEC
Bianco is the longest standing coach of any sport. Is the only one that has won, unsure of his ranking in the sec

Last year was ultra shitty in baseball, but they can’t take summer of 21 away from us. Still remains to be seen Bianco will make the changes required to be consistently good in the new SEC. I’ll be at Swayze Sunday though to watch the exhibition against Memphis.

Kiffin has a shot to do something great, but he’s gotta close. If we can beat A&M and UGA over these next 3 weeks, I’ll finally be fully back on board and think he’s worth what we pay him.

Excited for Beard and excited for basketball for the first time in a while.

All he has to do to get you back on board is to beat the #1 team on the road. Even if we lose to UGA, I'll be happy if we beat the rest of the teams on the schedule.

This will not happen. It took a team full of COVID senior leaders and a hot streak the likes of which we have never seen and will likely never see again to get Mike over the hump in 2021

And "good" is not good enough.

CLK: "We didn't come here to be good. We came here to be great."

With what we pay him. He’s getting paid playoff money. He’s a good coach, but I’m not certain he’s worth the raise we gave him last year. Not even with our 6-1 start this year because we haven’t beaten a “good” team (LSU may be a good team, or they may be fools gold propped up by Auburn and Army, time will tell)

One hell of a hot streak, yes. But we weren't the only school that allowed players an extra covid year.

If the 12 team playoff had existed in 2021 we would have been in it. If it existed this year we would very much be still in the conversation of getting in. We’re not a top 4 team in the nation nor do we really ever have a shot at being one but with Lane we seem to have a legit shot at being a top 12 team

With a 12 year playoff, I think a realistic expectation for our program is to make the playoffs at least once every four year cycle.

With Lane, we appear to be on that trajectory.

I think we can compete for a playoff spots most seasons under Kiffin.

Lane has had us ranked in the top 12 at some point in the season 3 years in a row.

Seems like he will always have a solid QB and can work the transfer portal to fill in the gaps on the roster.

This season is a perfect example of why the playoffs should be expanded. Anyone can beat anyone in the top 12.

I agree with compete - we should always be in/around the top 25. But a actully finishing top 12 (which is basically 3rd or 4th in the SEC) should be achievable on a 4 year cycle.

I’m more excited about the upcoming basketball season than I’ve been in a long long time.

Still no ruling yet

Those fricksticks at the ncaa need to make a decision one way or another

The season starts in a few weeks and this limbo shite has to end

Take a play out of the UNC playbook - just threaten to sue and they'll be eligable

Houston beats OM in secret scrimmage 70-66.

Houston starts the seasson as #7.

Beard may have OM a year ahead of schedule.
