Are they not seriously considering Liggins for DE? I thought he'd been doing well at that position in Juco.
I sure hope Thompson makes it back. It sucks for him to take a redshirt and then come back and get this injury. He'd been playing well, too.

If we were to get Pettway I doubt he is going to be third string for long. I hope Liggins can find a spot on offense because the DL would be pretty deep. Best case scenario would be DK is a stud, we get Pettway and he is a stud, and Liggins play TE and works out there

Liggins will be a TE and wildcat QB more than likely. He wouldn't contribute next year at DE. Look how impactful Hooks has been and he was the #1 Juco DL in the country. He's coming on now but it takes a while for Jucos is why I had Pettway 3rd string.

Agreed - my Bama friends are really high on him.
