Well yea, but they aren't even the same size, so it's apples to oranges. I wouldn't trade my reliability for a name brand, but that's just MO

Not even the same classification, chief.

You're right. F-150s are for straight people.

Name Brand as in F-150. That's the first truck that comes to mind in the eyes of the public when you mention trucks. I prefer the Tacoma however.

I've driven two Tacomas in my life and loved both of them. Great trucks - literally nothing ever messed up.

If I ever get another truck it will be a Toyota

This guy gets it. I've driven my for 20,000 miles and the only thing I have had to do is change the oil.

You would expect something to go wrong in the first 20k miles, or is it used?

Gotcha. That's still pretty low mileage though. Don't ever let anyone you know buy one of the new Ford Escapes. I drive one for work, and it's terrible.

Most Fords that my buddies own are faced with at least one problem that needs technician/garage care before 50,000 miles

I drove a Chrysler T&C minivan for work (it was the best option, and I had wee ones) 110k in three years, and never had to do anything besides regular maintenance.

One day I will have a nice vehicle I get to pick out.

I got my Nissan Altima with 75k miles on it.

I'm now at 150k and have never had to do anything but get new tires and change the oil.
