No, groupons are coupons for a minimum number of people online. The coupon is achieved when a certain amount of people have signed up to buy the item (in this case, tires). Once the number is reached, your order is placed and they send you the item at the lower groupon price, which is usually a whole lot.
If you want to be a child about it, sure. But it's mainly there for brainstorming ideas and buy/sell/trade parts.

Oh, I must be thinking of something different. I know my wife and her friends used to use what I thought was a groupon to get their nails done.

It's pretty much the same thing, but it is only applicable online.

There's probably less people that are hard core Tacoma fans to the point of posting on Tacoma websites than there are Ole Miss fans. At least I hope so.
