Frank Martin is a pretty big personality.

Not in the same league as Bruce.

Can't imagine Martin running into a crowd of fans and starting a mosh pit or going shirtless and painted up for football games. Bruce is now the most charismatic coach in the league.

You clearly don't know shite about Pearl's past in recruiting, and I'm not talking about a BBQ. If you want to chalk his success up to charisma and shirtlessness then have at it, I guess.

Pump the breaks little fella. There's no need for the hostility. My comments were just comparing Frank Martin's personality to Bruce's. I in no way claim that his success in recruiting is based off of those characteristics alone.

But let's be real. All else equal (money, program, roster) who do you think a 17-18 year old kid would rather play for, Martin or Pearl? That's the only point I'm making. That after all the other stuff shakes out and it comes down to who the kid wants to play for, Pearl's personality coupled with his resume will work wonders for auburn.

Will he have success on the court? Who knows.

No question IMO. As you've said, dude's a hell of a coach. The press conference he just had clarified that for me.

If Auburn boosters play ball, Pearl can make them a force

There are a number of high profile boosters that are interested in basketball or at least supporting the program more than before. Add in a ton of new guys starting to earn big money (35+ yrs old) that were here from the Cliff Ellis/Chris Porter Dunk city days

Auburn just sold some 400-500 season tickets today alone and I haven't been able to place my donation & purchse yet
