This has to be one of the best stories to be told! I was on the fire Bianco wagon. Now I say commission a statue and rename the field!

TJ McCants may have struggled a bunch this year, but he is the reason why we are champions right now. TJ is the mvp.

I’m happy for Kellum getting to finally call us in a national title game. Dude has probably called 3000+ events for us and has witnessed every heartbreaking defeat in person. He deserves to see us win this more than anyone

I know we’ve focused on Elliott and Delucia throughout the tournament but I didn’t realize the entire pitching staff was absolutely lights out.

We had a Team ERA of 2.27 during our championship run. Incredible.

Other than 6-7 pitches in the middle of the last Oklahoma game (can't remember the pitcher we brought in right after Elliot) no one struggled during our run

It was our other freshman that also relieved the day before. Big fastball and slider guy. He shoved bats up their asses the day before so I’m guessing he just didn’t handle the quick turnaround.

^^^ Nichols you speak of... seems to be a great kid, and is a great pitcher with a very bright future.

Yeah Mason. If he develops a wicked changeup, he'll be nasty as a closer.
