Ben Garett at the Spirit reported that Hugh in a press conference this morning said he hopes to have a new coordinator named by Jan 1. However it would be sooner if the right candidate is identified.
We're about to see how good of a recruiter Hugh really is. We've all said it, but identifying and signing real defensive talent is imperative right now if we're going to compete these next few years.

Hey, don't knock it. We got our arse handed to us Saturday by a bunch of 3 stars. I'm starting to wonder if this isn't our niche: recruiting and getting commits from guys we can keep and who will not only play hard for themselves, but the team and Ole Miss.

I'd rather have a bunch of guys not highly recruited that will love playing for Ole Miss and never quit on plays instead of some guys that don't care and it's 50/50 whether they'll give it 100%
