I just want to add that if we do lose a few scholarships the next few years and are still able to go to bowl games...I'm pretty damn ecstatic with last year's class. Greg Little, AJ Brown, Deontay Anderson, Pennamon...I mean there are a ton of guys to be excited about. Easy to forget with all this crap going around...

Coatney is classified with the '16 class, correct? So he'll be on campus this year? How many years does he have left?

He put up that on Twitter that we were #1 and Bama #2 but then it was deleted with just the old Tweet of us 2 tied. Not sure what to make of that. This would be a really big get for us on the Dline with depth and us losing a lot on the Dline. We lose

3 per the previous article linked. This pickup really fills out the last class. Maybe best one under Freeze. Guy doesn't have any stars, but I would say high three or low four based on his offer list.

He's a 3* on Scout, but I think Yancy may have described him as a 4* somewhere on the Spirit.
While I'd much rather have Coatney than a kid who was taped beating a woman already on the ground, dude's not without his own baggage, albeit at age 17. It seems like he was arrested for allegedly trying to break into a car or something. I haven't found too much other than his mug shot/rap sheet. He's paid his dues though, and I'm happy he gets a shot in the SEC with us. Mean Muggin'

It would be great if he can stay at LB but if the weight room adds some weight I think we will see him as a dominant SDE. It's really a win win.
