We just offered Chauncey Rivers from East Mississippi. Was starting DE for Georgia last year.

Been calling for this for awhile, guy is a stud. Should have offered earlier. But seems like a few guys have been given some news from the staff lately. Revaluations and de commits abound.

Recently aside from Ole Miss he's added Louisville and West Virginia. Previously signed and dismissed from Georgia.

Was at the Clinton vs MC game last night and The Clinton Cams still as good as ever. At his size the ability to stop and be at full speed within 2 steps really impressive. Will say speaking to someone that is friends with family they want him outside the SEC. The thought is that if he goes to the SEC Cam will be a bell cow RB that will take +30 hits a game. And we are definitely in his final 4 (Ole Miss, UT, FSU and I can't remember the last one because I was shocked that the Buttchuggers are in the mix).

So you think we have a couple high profile recruits "on the hook" who have told the staff they are coming and we are pulling out on guys that not showing well upon reevaluation?

Yes exactly! that is what I surmise, especially with some guys decommitting after not having great seasons in their respective leagues.

He's not gonna get 30 carries at Ole Miss nor would he need to with the QB and receivers we have. Akers could do all kinda damage with 20-25 carries and not get too beaten up. And that would be year after next.

So he can get enough carries to make a impact and with our passing game win some games but he doesn't have to get the hell beat out of him with 30+ carries?
