We need to start doing these sorts of camps too

I told you we would take two QB's this class!

Did we get two Qbs Today?
Posted on 5/23/16 at 6:10 am to HailFreezusOver
Hahaha I'm just pulling your leg but I did say we might take a juco and a high school QB. Sounds like that might be the game plan.

@T_Italiano_OHT
4* '17 QB @TheKellenMond and current Baylor commit tells me if he de-commits, he'd be very interested in Ole Miss as a possibility

I'll admit I know nothing as far as behind the scenes, but just considering what I read and hear from some, I'm surprised we can recruit a damn soul right now. And to make matters worse, I don't see that climate changing anytime soon between the time it takes the NCAA to do what they do coupled with the program paying for whatever they decide. We are gonna go from Top 5-10 in recruiting to 50 plus at this rate.

You need to cease reading Rosebowl. You are quoting him verbatim.

1. I hope all you guys are right. I officially have skin in the game starting in the fall. 2. I had to look up Stockholm Syndrome and I don't see how that applies to this. Just sayin'. 3. Man, I don't see how ya'll are very optimistic. I wish I felt the same way. 4 Why has Steve Robertson been right so much? What give's with that?
Posted on 5/31/16 at 9:00 am to Insideradvantage
What exactly has he been right about? Be specific and don't include things he regurgitated that were known.

Dude, with as much shite that RoseBitch has thrown on the wall some is bound to stick. The thing is really all hinges on the Tunsil crap because of these points:
1). The FCA shite was not an attempt to buy a player. The guy was really trying to do right by the kids, staff didn't realize he was a "booster" and when they figured it out they were proactive. So by letter of law it's a major violation that will likely be mitigated.
2). How can you attribute major violations against a University for lies told by FORMER employees 3-5 years removed from being employed by said University? This has to be some of the craziest logic ever by the NCAA and would trigger a lawsuit....so these gone.
3). The fact we self reported 20 of 28 infractions and this is all they found off a 3 year colonoscopy? I really think one of the smartest things they have done is hire that law firm out of Alabama. They did work. The COI can't read that thing with the precedents and not realize they are on point. Expect a few things added to justify their power but not much more.
So what if this is "it", yes a big if depending on Tunsil, Ole Miss will take this and move on. Even with Lidnsey Miller doing his thing, they found no pay for play and came away with less than $16K over a 3-4 year period. That is basically nothing and no matter how the media and State fans spin it isn't going to change the facts.

I can't give you a laundry list of stuff. I've kept up with all this like most of us on here, but I just keep hearing how he's been right all along, etc. etc. etc. Maybe that's just State folks saying this mostly, but you do hear radio guys saying the same. Hell, I'm not sure who he even works for. Is he a Scout guy or something. At first he was supposedly saying it was bad and this and that while all the others were downplaying it all. All I know is this shite seems to get a little worse almost every day and slowly but surely even some died in the wool OM faithful are starting to slip. Given the NOA, why wouldn't they?

And then they always compare us to the USC thing (something I know zero about. I can't stand USC, Reggie Bush, etc. Never even cared about that whole thing enough to know any of the specifics). Now I need to go back and research the USC mess to see if we compare to that at all.

Holy frick
He hasn't been Right. He just kept beating His chest that their was an investigation, which was already known. He speculated to severity. His original intent was centered around the fact nobody cared ole miss was being investigated. He felt it was his god given Mississippi Schtate Bulldog duty to puff that shite up and pandered to his ignorant masses. He was wrong about everything he dived into specifically.

What you honestly need to do is take a step back and stop worrying so much about it.
I mean NOTHING we do as a fan right now will change anything. Just know that some shite is gonna happen but who knows how much. We will see when it happens whenever that may be.
And stop worrying about what State fans say. Or other teams fans in general. I seriously had a Georgia fan tell me that he was excited about our game this season but hates that he won't be able to go now that we are gonna have the death penalty and we won't play this year. I shite you not he was 100% serious.
Some State fans are saying that this and we are 100% the worse case of cheating in the HISTORY of the NCAA. I mean come the frick on.
At the end of the day. It's gonna be worse than what we want/expect. But nothing near what other fans want/expect. So oh well.

The best thing I've heard Neal say about NOA is the NCAA and Ole Miss have talked about what would be an appropriate punishment. It just makes since that after three years of investigation they would have talked about it. Freeze is still our coach and he is going to keep us competitive. The best way I can describe it is we are going to jail in like three years so might as well enjoy the next three seasons.

Dawg posters, help us out, but what has he been so right about? He said OM would receive a NOA and he said it would have more football infractions than the 3 we said right before NSD. He hasn't given a single detail since that I know, but I could be wrong.
