I'm liking this Liberty transfer. Does anyone know why DC wants to transfer? Ben said we would limit the shite out of him if he decides to transfer.

I was unsure of that as well. Makes no sense to transfer. He actually played a lot last year and would be a huge part of the team this year.

So we coach DC up and when he finally becomes a respectable player he wants to transfer?
He will have ton of playing time next year, wtf?
Does he not like arenas with proper lighting?

He sounds like a white Anthony Perez. Brutus is going to have to come back strong and clean the glass with all these soft bigs we have.

We should only allow him to transfer to Liberty. Either that, or go play in Iraq.

Word on the Liberty transfer is that he is a rich man's Anthony Perez. He can shoot the three and has pretty good athleticism. He only averaged around 6-7 rebounds, but is suppose to be an upgrade at the 4 with Saiz at the 5. I believe Coleby wants to start, and he probably won't over the Liberty transfer.

Why wouldn't they just play the new guy at the 3 and be extremely long?

He is 6'9 and not as adept at guarding perimeter guys at the 3. Guys at the three can range from 6'4-6'7, and are generally quicker. As well, we need all the big man help that we can get. With that being said, I want someone to take Newby's starting spot. He plays hard, but is difficult to watch offensively.

Its crazy that Colby would feel he would sit. What makes him believe he couldn't play over Saiz. Saiz is soft as tissue.

Saiz is a better all around player in my opinion. Coleby will play but I don't see him beating Saiz out. He has to gain more consistency.

We need both though because Hymon and Brutus are only 6'6 and Perez is a strictly a 3.
