We need Vanderbilt Lsu and shout Carolina to be knocked out quickly. Just to make it clear that we are hot and deserve more than any of them.
And probably 2 wins.

If it came down to us and LSU for the championship, the winner of that game probably gets the nod.

Yeah if it played out that way. But assuming it's state or Florida.
All we need to do is be there. And we should have locked in national seed.
Gonna have Wyatt short on a full 2 day rest and pagnozzi only threw 9 pitches. As well as the Southaven fastball guy. And Brady Feigl ( unless he's starting)
So we have some bullpen. To fire at vandy tomorrow.
Obviously stokes is done until Friday Saturday. After going so deep today, thankfully. Glad Bianco left him out there to Finnish the game.

I'm not sure. Probably don't need LSU or Vandy to win the tournament. It depends on how much the committee values conference tournaments. Ray Tanner USCe AD and former baseball coach is on the committee so that is another check on a long list of things going against us to not be a national seed.

If South Carolina loses tomorrow and we win.... And then South Carolina gets in over ole miss after ole miss goes at least 3-1 and USC goes 0-2 and with a tougher SOs higher Rpi and Tanner puts South Carolina in over us... That will need to be investigated.

I still don't see them giving a national seed to a team that finished T6 in their conference.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape in terms of arms for today's game. It would be nice to knock off Vandy and get the head to head nod if it comes to that.

I was talking to my buddy last night. This is general what we came up with as starters going forward this week.
Thursday - MacArthur/ Smith
If we lose:
Fri - Macarthur/ Smith
Sat - Johnson
Sun - Fiegle or Short
If we win:
Sat - Mac/Smith
Sun - Short (pen day where everyone is available for a couple of innings.)
Regardless winning today would help our pen dramatically going into Saturday.
Thursday - MacArthur/ Smith
If we lose:
Fri - Macarthur/ Smith
Sat - Johnson
Sun - Fiegle or Short
If we win:
Sat - Mac/Smith
Sun - Short (pen day where everyone is available for a couple of innings.)

If we make it to Saturday I'd guess we see Bramlitt. He threw less than 60 pitches Tuesday and will need a good bullpen session before the regional anyway.
Same Sunday with Parkinson although he threw more Wednesday so probably on a shorter pitch count
