Starting with the A&M game, Akeem Judd has 40 carries for 216 yards and a 5.4 ypc avg.. That's including a bad performance against Arkansas where he had 4 carries for 9 yards. There's no reason he shouldn't get 10-15 carries a game next year. I think he'll replace Jaylon nicely.

I have said all along he's our best back... He and Swinney will be one hell of a one two punch

I got so angry when it's third down and he's nowhere to be seen. Judd is legit. Great find by our coaching staff.

Yes Judd really turned it on in the second half of the season.
My favorite person to watch run though is Wilkens. He may not have the speed of Walton or the Power of Judd but damn that boy runs hard.

Well, he ran hard last night but for a good chunk of the season he's been a bit MIA.

First few games he seemed a bit timid. Might be because of the injury he had a couple years ago and a little rust since he hadn't played in live action in over a year and a half. Sure came on strong in the last few games though.

I think we are in good position with both Judd and Wilkins.
Sweeney will be ready to go next season and Brazely will be the change of pace back.
I believe there are several factors that will help the running game in the future.
An improved interior line with experience, with Conyers returning from injury.
The return of Chad Kelly and the threat of his running ability. We didn't have this until the last 3 games this year. This allowed defenses to over pursue the run. Not a good thing in a read option offense.
So we really can't blame all the o-line issues on Luke, when the offense wasn't being run in the manner it is designed.
Look how impressive our big backs are when they are 1 on 1 in the secondart. They can run over tacklers or they can run past them. Wow! Who knew this?
I think this was a fail on CHF though. He should have ran Kelly against some of the lesser early opponents in order to keep future defenses honest. I don't get paid 4 million a year, so what do I know.
The ability to go out and sign a quality offensive group this season to add depth and a quality left tackle.
A victory over Bama for the second year in a row, 3 out of 4 against state now and 10 win season a possibility, still has us moving in the right direction.
Finish up with a top 10 recruiting class and we finally can see success lasting longer than 3 or 4 years at a time. Now we are building a program.

Wilkins run where he fricking trucked the state guy should be used quite a bit on here for the next year. It was so beautiful

Judd broke #11's spirits. He looked like a crash dummy on train tracks.

He flat teed him up. It hurt me to watch it... over and over and over and over. Ha.

The slow motion they showed on tv was brutal. And it made my pants stick out

Couldn't take the gamble of running Kelly early and him going down for the season. I like the way they waited until the last three games to unleash it. Next year I'm sure they'll run him more because we should have Buchanan in year four, and the #1 hs qb in the country behind him if he were to get dinged up.
I hope they use Pellerin in some type of running package. It is what he did in HS.

I don't think CHF knew how bad arse Kelly was running the ball.
He does cartwheels on his head for TDs, he could go out as the Heisman winner if he comes back and wins a NC.
