Okay so this is what my buddy/source told me as of Sunday.

If signing day were tomorrow
Leo
Richmond
Patterson
Cece
McMillan
Kirkland

Would be rebels.

Saving PRIVATE Ryan is a good movie

We're in great shape with Ro Smith

Gotta get cowart on campus but there's interest.

I'm sure I left off a name or two as well. Those are just right off my head this morning

What makes you think we are in good shape with smith?

Eta: just got your saving private Ryan reference. We will see.

I doubt we pursue Champion. Champion is a good prospect who will be a good O-lineman but he is not SEC ready like Taylor or Morris were, and we need immediate impact. Champion has a great frame but is very lean right now and won't contribute until his RS sophomore year at State. He's the kind of lineman Mullen has done really well with so it makes perfect sense.

I'm not understanding the saving private ryan reference.

Did we have any chance with Malik Jefferson?

Nothing concrete. My friend said we were in great shape. He doesn't talk about recruits very often but when he does, he's normally on the spot. Experience tells me to believe what he says.

He didn't mention Jefferson. So I don't know about that one. with our staff, I'm sure were still fighting. He just wasn't listed in that above group. I asked specifically about cowart and 'interest- gotta get him to campus' was the answer. The rest, I was told, were Rebels..

I don't think so. He is going to Texas.

Kirkland is an EE.

The CBs for Smith are 85% Georgia and 15% Florida.

Listening to Neal today, He basically said as of right now we aint getting Smith, Jefferson or Cowart.

He doesn't think we take Kelly.

And he still feels like Shea will go to LSU probably due to the fact LSU has hired his brother as a grad assistant. But hell, we could even offer his bro a better job if need be.
