in the lower 48 that runs for thousands of miles. It has been an ongoing super secret government/military project that was started over 30 years ago. Well, it used to be super duper secret, but not so secret anymore. The system is of course for the gov't to survive a doomsday calamity or scenario and at same time to have a transportation system immune to all out nuclear warfare. FACT.

In what way is it not secret anymore?

Well, my mind is blown. Sounds like a good place to put in some gas stations though.

Do a simple google search. It's never been a secret that there are huge underground bunkers with tunnels for top gov't leaders and military, heck those things existed in ww2. Now think...do you remember the huge highway that France and England built under the English Channel a few years ago and the monster drill that was used to bore a full highway? Google photos for that giant drill, it's easy to find, even video. Now imagine that drill and several others working for the gov't nonstop past two dozen years or more!

You know that thousands of workers worked on the Chunnel for years. Plus all of the support contractors, engineers, etc. Not to mention the thousands of dump trucks worth of material that would have to be removed and deposited somewhere every day.
So, the number of people who would know about this project would easily morph into the Hundreds of Thousands.
So, link me to any news story about its existence. I'll wait.

Kentucky has a natural underground system due to the cave system. That's nothing new.
Louisville also has an underground cavern/network that is used for storage under the limestone and has also been converted into an entertainment center with zip lines, climbing stuff, motocross track, etc.
I imagine is there was a whole network connecting everything, neither would be open to tourists.
