In my opinion it would be unwise to stoop to a lower level and give more avenues for very legitimate criticism talking points against our actions which directly correlates to the legitimacy of our cause in regards to public opinion - on an international level.

It has to be Arabs and Sunnis who drop the hammer of brutality upon ISIS. The US and Europe have an interest in keeping the threat contained and aid the Middle Eastern governments who are ready to do what is necessary.

By Middle Eastern governments, I really mean Saudi Arabia. Iran is already ready to wipe those frickers out, but they will be forced on too short of a leash because of Israeli and Western concerns of Iran having more influence in the region. The Saudis have the means and are the most powerful Sunni nation in the region. I'm just not sure what a weakened Assad regime and Jordan are really going to be able to accomplish.

Assad will do whatever it takes, if we'd just look the other way.

Obama is not a Muslim.

I guess you have never heard of all the drone strikes he's ordered.

Or how about taking down bin Laden.

Obama has been much more aggressive against terrorism than Bush was.

Try reading a newspaper.

There's no room for facts when it comes time to bash Obama over something.

Genghis Khan committed genocide on Muslims and it worked pretty well for centuries.

Genghis Khan is one of the major contributing reasons for the state of the middle east today. The libraries in Baghdad were said to be the pinnacle of scientific and historical learning at that time, and he destroyed it all, killed all their leaders, and sent them to the stone age.
Genghis Khan F'ed it all up, so I wouldn't exactly look fondly back on his memory.

George Bush is a muslim sympathizer. He destroyed the sovereign nation of Iraq, destabilizing the entire region whose borders were previously drawn by the West and whos leaders were installed by the West after the World War. Creating room for the vacuum of ISIS. If only he had had someone on his staff who could tell him what would happen, someone like Dick Cheney for instance...

Dick Cheney discusses what happens if you destabalize Iraq.

Let the world burn over there.

We'll just sit here and mind our own business.

Just what do you mean by sympathizer?

I sympathize with Muslims who suffer, even though I think Islam and all religions are quite stupid.

Good. I needed an excuse to buy more weapons, ammo and liquor. And a couple of large attack dogs.

Dutch Shepards, Great Danes, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers... haven't decided yet. Something very intimidating to the invading Muslim hordes.

Here is the dog the Brits used to torture the slaves in Jamaica. It was very affective.

Cuban bloodhound.

I'm not much into slave torture. I just want something to protect my family and I from the Muzzies and their sympathizers/enablers.

Pissed off, Piney Wood Rooter, would serve a lot of intimidation to the invading Muslim hordes.

The only way war ever achieves a true and lasting peace is to truly and completely break the enemy.

Sherman/Grant got it. The Allies got it in WW2.

Anything else leaves the foe thinking they did not really lose and serves as a seed for future conflict.

Yep, and this is the reason the US will never "win" a war again. Too hard to stomach. You have to remove your enemy's will or your enemy's means to make war, and that is messy. US public won't allow it.

Good idea. They wouldn't get near anything with a bunch of shaitan chained up around the place, and several more running loose. I'd have to have a house full of 72 virgins for them to even get near.
