My wife was a Bama fan going to Auburn. It took a little convincing, but she finally came around and cheers for the school she went to.

Well...my wife is a UT alum. We have fun with it and personally I feel that anyone who is so wrapped up in a game that it would affect their personal relationships is a giant loser.

After 20 years of marriage to another alum and huge fan of Alabama, I can't say I wouldn't have married a fan of another school.
BUT - knowing what I know now, no way could I be married to a rabid AU or UT fan.
We bicker about enough shite that I don't need to fool with a divided house.
Our fandom as Alabama alums is one of the few mutual hobbies we share that bring us together.
If we were to divorce or god forbid, he were to pass away, I probably wouldn't marry again so I will thankfully never have to make that decision.
