Obliterated my left ACL playing football. And yeah, after the first surgery it would swell up and they'd drain it with a big arse needle, moving the needle around to make sure they got all of it. Yes it hurt.
People that have never had fluid drained have no idea how bad it sucks.
Tore ACL (partial then a complete tear) and the meniscus to boot (partial here). Broke both collar bones, nose, rotator cuff & left arm. Plenty of stitches too......damn I'm a walking accident

Was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease while playing football my freshman year. Probably one of the worst pains I've ever felt, and it was present every day after practice.
Had to get some sort of healing ultrasound treatment but other than that, just had to wait it out.
Had a football helmet cut a vein in my left arm while making a tackle one game. Didn't even feel it.. I just noticed what I thought was some sweat before lining up on the next play to look down and see blood pouring down my arm. Of course I was in East Central MS where there are no hospitals within a 2 hour drive... that sucked.

OK, try to keep up
5 Compression fractures on lower spine
Broken tail bone - twice
right collar bone broken - 2 times
Left collar bone broken 1 time
5 broken ribs, one punctured lung
Torn Abdominal muscle - Had to be repaired
Left rotator cuff surgery three years ago
All tendons in right wrist torn, had to be surgically repaired at age 13
Compound fracture of left arm
Im sure I will think of a few more and add to the list

What the frick
I had a partial LCL tear in my right knee when I was visiting fam in the far east. Elected not to get surgery because it's just too risky there 10-14 days of miserable pain and sore arm pits from crutches.

Went completely over your head. Think about a Blue Mercury Cougar in a video with some Canadian chick singing.

Torn ACL was the worst in terms of duration. It was actually pretty livable day-to-day though.
Fractured my hip in HS. That shite hurt 100% of the time for 3-4 months. Also broke my wrist once in HS.
Had 3 diagnosed concussions. I also have to get surgery in a month for a shoulder injury from college that's gotten worse. A bunch of other little dings that aren't worth mentioning.
Football in the fall, basketball in the winter, lacrosse all spring and summer eventually takes its toll.

It sounds wimpy compared to the things mentioned in this thread but I got turf toe my junior year in high school. I never told the coaches or anybody else about it. I just played through it because I had never heard of turf toe before and didn't want to be called a pussy since I didn't have any bones sticking out or anything. It didn't always hurt when I ran but when I put pressure on it just right......yeah, that's some painful shite.

Torn/seperated AC joint. Grade 3. Have a huge bump on my shoulder where my clavicle is sticking up. It was either get surgery, have a scar, and miss the rest of the year, or wait four weeks, have a big arse knot, and finish the football season. So now i will probably have some mean arthritis one day if i dont fix it.

Many
Worst A: Broke my back taking a charge at Mizzou basketball camp. Had a L-5 pars fracture. Was on cruches and back brace w/ a metal rod attached to my leg to restrict movement for 2-3 months.
Worst B: Torn Labrum and partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Partially tore the ulnar when I pitched in high school. Elected not to have Tommy John and moved to the outfield. (Not smart) Wasn't bad until I got to college and began the 2-workout/day routine and ended up tearing my labrum since I was trying to compensate for the other partial tear.... Not fun...
Painful: The most painful was when a guy undercut me as I was on a fast break. Went up to finish off the glass and woke up on my back... concussion and had to get 30 stitches on my chin...

Was doing the Oklahoma drill on a rainy day back in h/s. I was the LBer. Slipped in mud before i hit the other guy which happened to be our 250 Ib. DL/FB with the crown of my helmet.
Ended up herniating a disk and had two bulging. Multiple surgeries and still plagues me to this day with right leg sciatica pain. Im in my mid 20's

I blame her for the fact that no one can use the word ironic properly today.

Dislocated right shoulder in HS, went up for a layup and the defender hit my arm and bent it way the frick back. It went right back in when I hit the floor and actually didn't hurt too bad at the time. It was agonizing the next morning though and my arm was useless for about two weeks. Still pops and causes me pain when working out at times.
Only other injuries were minor ankle and wrist sprains and a dislocated finger that still doesn't straighten out right.

Shin splints from running the 880. Yes, I am old enough track events were in yards back then.
Not a terrible injury, but hurt like hell anyway.
