Doubt it. Immediately after the shooting it was a hot topic, but I don't think ppl care that much anymore. I think most ppl that took an interest in the case believe GZ was defending himself.

Nothing is ever cut and dry, even when the evidence seems to be. The things juries deem important are sometimes off the wall. So who knows what the actual outcome will be.

If there wasn't enough evidence to warrant a conviction, the Judge would or will dismiss the case. My guess is there is plenty of evidence for a conviction and this won't happen. Actually getting one is a different story.

If the case keeps going like it has been the media will start avoiding coverage and there won't be much reaction.
Some new evidence could fire things up, but right now it's going to taper out.

Florida judges are elected. You can take it to the bank that this one is going to the jury.
