Happens with every race. Most mothers here in Mexico go both ways: They want to ''better the race'', or they don't want their girl going out with a European-type.
My last Asian girlfriend, her mother said ''at least you're not black''.
Literally every group has racists, but a lot of black guys/people seem quicker to attribute it to racism. Just callin' it like I see it.

I'd say young folks are just more inclined to be open minded.
But you know what really pisses me off? You're comment about the ghetto is true but it's more about poverty, poverty can bring prejudice whether in the black ghetto, Spanish slum or white trailer park. But what pisses me off more than anything is white privileged kids at college in the news doing racist things, they literally have no fricking excuse.

LOL- I don't know where you live but plenty of young white dudes with young good looking Asian women along the West and East coasts. As far as "they can't date black girls"... Pleeeze. They don't WANT to date black girls because they either don't find them physically attractive or they feel that there will be problems with the families. Seriously. One of the nicest (and prettiest--girl was a dime) black girls in the Corps at A&M when I was there was with the same white guy the whole time. They're quite happily married now, but I remember some downright vile shite some of the black guys would say about her behind her back. Made me sick. Also resolved to never engage in such behavior. It's stupid on so many levels.

yeah, i didn't really think this was a thing until now. One of my friends' sister is married to a white guy, and she is BAD. He's cool, but I kinda hated him for a while. Not because he was white, but because he was hittin' it and I wasn't!

White guys date Asians and Hispanics all the time. Black women just usually don't want white men and the feeling is more often than not, mutual.

i think it's something i maybe noticed 10 years ago. but i grew up in a fairly racist community. its been beat out of me to even recognize it as different these days.
