There's some local outraged blacks.
But they don't make the news because the news exists for ratings. 9-year olds shot in a drive by don't draw ratings.

I almost posted about this last night. CNN.com's huge lead story was about some guy in rural Arkansas who had an affair. This story was nowhere to be found. I was disgusted.

This is why the black community can't have nice things. Jesse, Al, and the Black Panthers are always getting air time to point out the speck in Whitey's eye with no regard for the mast in their own.

The story of this little girl is so incredibly sad. And the police apparently have no leads. You know someone knows who pulled the drive-by, but they won't snitch. Pitiful.
I read that some of the people who marched for her last night ended their march at the location where Michael Brown was shot. Can they not see the difference?
ETA - And now that the autopsy of Mansur Ball-Bey, the 18yr old who was killed Wednesday, showed he was killed by a single gunshot to the back...look for the BS to heat up again. They won't wait to see where the cops were, the bullet trajectory, or any other facts of it. They'll just pursue the narrative and tear up more of St. Louis. I saw some tweets last night about their desire to take the protest to white neighborhoods. I hope they do - let's see how that works out for them.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. If I knew that someone had murdered some innocent little girl just trying to do her homework, I'd rat their asses out in a heartbeat if I didn't just kill them myself. Some of these people would rather let a murderer roam their community than to be "a snitch". frick that! Poor black neighborhoods will continue to be war zones until the decent people there stand up to the thugs.

I'm sorry - "thug" is all about behavior, not skin tone. I'd call a white kid who hung out at a drug house and pointed a stolen gun at cops a thug too.

Living in a back neighborhood I watched its destruction by the simple loss of the block "aunties" who kept order when parents were working even if the kids never knew who was the eyes on the street keeping them inline.

I refuse to give any of these "unjust" shootings any concern till blacklivesmatter realizes that NO, Chicago,Detroit, and Baltimore, are having the worst year of black on black in the last 20 years.
Who gives a shite about criminals resisting arrest and dying over it when innocents are getting killed?

Exactly. They'll talk big, but when it comes down to it... It'll never happen. That's biting off more than they care to chew, and the BLM movement knows it.
Can you imagine the scene if they tried to set fires and break into business in Webster, or Kirkwood, or Chesterfield?

I don't know how many times this has been said, but Jackson and Sharpton don't speak on behalf of all black people. It's just impossible. I don't know of a single black person anywhere who follows their advice (if they even give any) or listens to them.

Statistically, most murders happen between people of the same race. This goes for everyone (black on black, white on white, Hispanic on Hispanic, ect). So yeah the numbers are going to be higher. And even though #blacklivesmatter isn't doing AS MUCH about this problem as I want them to, local black communities and churches are taking the imitative to try to fix the problems themselves. It's just that MSM isn't showing constant coverage of the local drive-bys and shootings, because it "doesn't generate enough ratings".
So yeah it's not like black people AREN'T doing anything to stop this problem, it's just not getting the attention it deserves.
