I loved Blink when I was in high school. Still like them to this day. The Enema of the State album is always cool to jam to on guitar.

You mean one of us likes actual artists who really did shite to change the world and the other likes corporate sellouts.
Man, I love the "My favorite band has a social conscience" types. No, they don't. That strung-out heroin addict with greasy hair and ridiculous body piercings isn't a "voice of a generation". He's a musician that can string together a few guitar chords at high volume that's enjoyable to listen to. That's it.

All you have to do is listen to the span and variety of the music they wrote and sung that has been rerecorded by many artists - vocal and instrumental - and know this will continue on after we are gone
