It's squeezing their margins and an incentive to stop expanding production so much. I don't think the oil companies like it.
This is all about fricking Iran and slowing down US/Canada production mostly through fracking. At least we aren't in places that don't use the dollar. It's getting more expensive for the vulnerable Chinese and Eurozone economies. My worry is another global dip that undercuts our slow but decent recovery.
