Just movies and not stage only actors

10 in no particular order, based mainly on their ability to portray multiple types as opposed to a single type.

Peter O' Toole
Daniel Day - Lewis
Peter Sellers
Anthony Hopkins
Jack Nicholson
Michael Caine
Sean Connery
Russell Crow
Robert De Niro
Edward Norton

As for the female side
Audrey Hepburn
Cate Blanchett
Lauren Bacall
Meryl Streep
Jodie Foster
Judi Dench
Emma Thompson
Frances McDormand
Jennifer Connelly
Hattie McDaniel

Tv Actors Nowadays dont pop out to me

Really? Idk, there's so many good TV shows either on now or that aired in the past decade that I have a whole 'nother mental category just for them. Probably just me, though.

Can't believe I forgot this guy.

Inspector Javert in Les Miserables
Captain Blight in Mutiny on the Bounty
Henry VIII in Henry the VIII

Among his many roles, but this is the role that should bring it all in focus as his name may not be well known by the younger set …

But his face should certainly ring a bell

Bruce Willis, Jason Segel, Will Smith, Leslie Nielsen, Chris Farley, Tom Hanks, and Denzel Washington.

Speaking of Washington, just watched Taking Pelham 123 and Glory last night.

Edward Norton and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are two I hold in pretty high esteem. I like Gary Busey, too, but not for his acting skills.

Hell its hard to believe that The Shawshank Redemption is close to 20 years old. It was a terrible box office movie and exploded once the awards hot and people saw it on video. Hell Training Day is 15 years old, damn!

Those are two really good movies as well. Makes me feel old thinking about how long ago they were filmed. I was watching Angelina Jolie in Gone In 60 Seconds the other day. That is my favorite movie ever filmed.

Yes! I was just thinking about a couple of very underrated movies that Alyssa Milano starred in, and Fear and Body Count were the first names that came to mind. I first watched Fear in high school not long after it released. I didn't fully appreciate how good it was until I watched it again. Body Count had a surprise ending, and really made you think it was going to end one way, but didn't.

Cruel Intentions is my favorite Witherspoon movie.
