id go with billy fat nussenger as the worst lt. gov.

La fricked it all up last election. Vitter should be gov since he fricks hookers not wallets, and Kip Holden would be an excellent lt. gov

Jindel tried to reform education. It didn't work, but I like the way he tried. JBE raised taxes on EVERYTHING, including stuff that was wasn't taxed before, and then gave free healthcare to 350,000 more people.

So after telling the state that we have no money for education, retirement, social services, and etc. Governor Bevin has announced that he's spending $500,000 on an investigation of the previous administration. Paid to an Indiana law firm.

Well, in fairness to your bad governor, this might very well be a legitimate investigation.

Little chance that an Indy law firm would have connections to the prior administration.

No. Kentucky's Attorney General is the previous governor's son, Andy Beshear. He has been suing Gov. Bevin's megalomaniac moves at every turn and the courts are agreeing with him, blocking his attempts to rule by executive order.

This has infuriated the little man and his response was to initiate this probe. If he was sincere about exposing corruption, he'd release his tax returns which he promised d to do during the campaign.

Is the corruption generational, and ingrained into the State Gov though?? Will any govenor even with the best intentions with the trying his hardest REALLY be able to change anything??

That's how IL is, but mainly driven by how bad Chicago is. Chicago runs the state no doubt.

It's not worth the money spent for the investigation. It's simply Bevin deflecting from his own issues. And getting into a massive pissing match with the Beshears because the previous Governor's son is Attorney General and creating some serious hurdles for his executive orders and such.

It's gotten so petty that he removed Jane Beshear's (former First Lady) name from a state education center in Frankfort despite her legitimate contributions to the center. And booted her from her position on the Kentucky Horse Park panel. Just out of sheer spite.

Yeah, I liked Angelle, and I voted for him, but he wasn't going to win.

The black vote went to JBE, and the moderate vote took it's ride on the swing to JBE, and only the reddest of red voters stuck with Vitter.

It is in Alabama.

Not in Alabama. Our governor really doesn't hold much power to begin with thanks to our archaic state constitution, which by the way is the longest constitution in the world. The legislature here holds all the power, and they are also the ones that would have to call a convention to rewrite the constitution. That's not happening.

As bad as our governor is, the legislature is even worse. Our Speaker of the House, arguably the most powerful position in Alabama government, was just convicted of 13 ethics violations and is likely going to jail.
