The one where Gumps kill people, including their own fans, over football games. This thread gives me an uneasy feeling, but I felt compelled to reply.

Albert Fish is just fricking all kinds of creepy.
I always was intrigued by the Zodiac Killer.

Read a book about this a few years back:
John S. Williams
Video on Subject
Pretty disgusting. So bad that a jury of white men actually convicted another white man for the crime, which was pretty uncommon in the South at that time.

The Candyman, also known as the "Houston Mass Murders."
Over 20 known victims. Although I was born several years after the spree came to an end in 1973, I still heard stuff from my older brother and his friends about the Candyman getting you, especially around Halloween.
Never knew the real story until I was an adult. The crimes are horrific to read about, and being familiar with the locations adds to the eeriness.

Holy shite! I read about this case last night from beginning to end. This is up there with some of the worst shite I've ever heard of in my life. Simply disgusting, and to think that there are still undiscovered remains of victims deteriorating somewhere under a submerged beach..
There must be at least 30 victims connected, and he had two accomplices that willingly participated in this sick shite! Wtf was wrong with those people?? How does that even happen?? I can't believe the accomplices didn't get the death penalty being in the state of Texas, even if they did lead the investigation. Horrible

The Ripper.
I wrote a song about him:
"…but you were never one to run/when the sun went down/
I watched you walk like a stalking cat/the streets of London town/
and only the night befriended you, only the void of the dark/
the hunters could never beguile you, how quickly you tore them apart."
It's one of my favorite songs.

Always found the Richard Ramirez story (the night stalker) to be particulary disturbing.

Of all the sickos mentioned in the thread, this Fish fricker was the most messed up. He would kill little kids, boys or girls, cut off their buttocks and bake a rump roast and eat it. His story is the only one that ever gave me chills.

As far as serial killers, probably Robert Hansen.
Movie about him came out a couple of years ago. He would literally fly his victims to remote areas and hunt them.

The U.S. Supreme Court had ruled the death penalty unconstitutional from 72-76 (I think), otherwise the DA surely would have sought it.

He just died in prison about a year ago.

He lived with his wife and two children in a modest home at the edge of town, and he earned a living as his father had, as proprietor of a small bakery.
He got a flying license, bought a Piper Cub and became a competent bush pilot, handy for hunting adventures.
Though cloaked in respectability, Bob the Baker lived a secret shadow life.
He was a regular at strip clubs and on Fourth Ave., where potential partners learned to conform to one of Hansen’s quirks: They had to make the first move, part of his elaborate fantasy to demean women.

He said he raped some 30 women and murdered as many as 21. He released many of his victims into the Alaskan bush then stalked and shot them, like trophy sheep.
