Love whataburger. Never actually eaten a burger there, but their breakfast food is great for fast food.

They have Whataburger in Oklahoma, but I don't know of anyone who's ever eaten there. I'm surprised they're still in business.

I know several kids going to University of the Ozarks that went to Tulsa just to get Whataburger, glad they only have to go to FV now.

People are freaking stupid about stuff like this. I know a guy who lives up in the upper midwest. Evidently Sonic's were scarce up there. He'd drive like 3 hours to eat at a Sonic. I know another guy who has the same opinion and has driven that far for Braum's. Let that sink in. Sonic and Braum's.

It's all about scarcity and the grass being greener on the other side, though. If you don't have those places and you're introduced to those places when on the road, then those places may seem magical. Once you have continued exposure to them, they quickly become mundane.

I still eat copious amounts of Cook-Out. My love affair will never end. $2.75 for a 1/2 lb, delicious burger.

if you came away thinking the Wendy's jr bacon cheeseburger is better then you ate the wrong thing. Next time you go try ordering any of these: Patty melt, BBQ chicken strip sandwich, honey butter chicken biscuit, or the Monterey melt. You can thank me later. Any of those things are much better then anything Wendy's has to offer

I normally can't disagree with that setup, but if I am at whataburger from 11PM-11AM I just can't ever convince myself to not get the HBCB.

I'm pretty sure I had one (patty melt) on my trip to fsu, when I was a senior in HS. I was really drunk, but all I remember is a sloppy mess of food that looked like it's was literally thrown in a bag and then handed to me. I'll give it one more shot but my first two experiences, I would honestly take a mcdouble over it

Looked like this

And looked about the same the next morning

well that burger does look like a disgrace. But it is not a patty melt. A patty melt looks more like this

Throw some grilled jalapenos on it and it takes it to a whole new level. The fact they will grill the onlons and jalapenos and do whatever you want to your burger really sets it apart from other fast food.

My wife loves the Patty Melt and the honey butter chicken biscuits. I usually just get a Double with grilled onions and grilled jalapenos with spicy ketchup. The Avacado Bacon Burger is also fantastic.

I've eaten in those Whataburgers, and they aren't all that.
Not bad, just not all that special either.
