Haggis is pretty tasty if you make it the way the old people did.
Scot = person
Scotch = booze
If you say you are Scotch Irish, you are just saying you are Irish and you like Scotch. Since Scoti is a Roman term who know what the Scots actually called themselves at the time. I just know modern Scots can be called by phone or the dinner bell.

Scotch or Scottish is perfectly acceptable as an adjective form demonym to refer to something or someone of, or related to, Scotland
The noun form would be Scot or Scotsman

That may be all well and good, but my grandparents did not approve so it was not acceptable as a kid in our house.

I'm pretty WASPy. Bland is the best word I can think of if we're going that far back.
As far as regionally, in Kentucky, pretty damn good.

It's a staple in a lot of your comfort food/southern eateries but it's not as big a deal as you'd think. And KFC is the absolute bottom of the barrel of it.
When I think of here I think of bourbon and hot browns instead.

Irish: what are some traditional Irish dishes? I dunno
German: love spatzle and schnitzel
Native American: I got nothing
Soul Food: Absolutely disgusting
Tex-Mex?
My favorite overall cuisine is Italian though. Idk where that comes from

I'm 95% Irish but I don't like Irish food. I like French dishes. They really know food.

I'm German. Our food might be kinda boring, but it's simple and to the point.
Beer, sausage, sauerkraut, and rye bread is good shite.
ETA: By beers I mean lagers. Good lagers at that. Germans don't really drink ales aside from Hefeweizens.

German food may be simple, but it's everything you'd want on a cold winter night.
