Yeah, that was a weird angle I was sitting at, I guess. Was like leaning off the couch to take that pic

Go buy a nice pair of Allen Edmonds. They're great quality, last forever, but in the off chance you wear the frick out of them, you can pay the price of your shitty shoes (assuming you didn't get them at an outlet mall) and get them basically rebuilt.

Yup.

Not that there's anything essentially wrong with cheap shoes, they serve a purpose. However, there was once I time when I was sitting in my office in my fresh Alfani shoes straight off the rack in Macy's and feeling good about myself and some dude that knew what was going on actually broke it down to me and told me what a good pair of shoes can really do for you, image-wise, comfort-wise, and budget-wise.

I hope I can do that for someone else today. Hopefully I can at least open someone's eyes to the real value of a good pair of shoes and that shoes don't have to be disposable like you've been trained to think.

Alden > Allen Edmonds, but you can't go wrong w/ either. Now that J&M and Cole Haan are no longer making shoes in the U.S., those are the last two quality American brands.

The Allen Edmonds Park Avenue is a shoe that everyone should own, even if you don't know shite a/b shoes.

I've worn combat boots with everything.

My go to brand is definitely 5.11.

Nike frees for casualness. Anderson bean calf skin for slightly less casualness(probably what I wear 50% of the time). Luchesse gator tail(black) for formalness(even my going out boot half the time now they were like $600 and I effing love them) is my current rotation. Asics for running. Also have a pair of casual Jordan's when I'm feeling fly.

I tend to stay away from Nike as they don't seem to hold up too well for me.

I used to too, but I got a pair of Flyknit Lunar 1 after reading a load of good reviews and I wasn't disappointed.

I like Cole Haan dress shoes.

I also think Cole Haans are very meh and look like some sort of cheap sperry upgrade. How many frat douches did you see wear sperry's with slacks? I saw a ton and it looked stupid. It's like they finally realized they can't do that, so they upgraded. But it's only slightly. There are way better looking shoes, and I don't get why people wear them with suits. It's just as bad as sperrys as slacks. Wear a cowboy boot or a dress shoe. These are your only two options.

With a suit? That makes playing spot the retard way too easy.

Can't say I've ever seen Sperry's that look like this:

Dress shoes- Nine West
Running shoes-New Balance

There's a shite ton of blindnessmen in TX that wear nice boots with suits. Not uncommon at all.

These look awesome. Do they have any arch support, because if so I might look into getting some?

Casual: Cole Haans (If you need a new pair every year and a half or so like I do, you may want to go ahead and purchase your next pair of the loafer cleats, they're about to jump 20-25 dollars)

Running: Nike Free Run 5.0
Got some Air Max's that I bring out every once in a while to wear with jeans or shorts, still love those things.

Everywhere: Chacos

Dress: J&M

Boots: Redhead (Bought them as a patch but they've been so comfortable I've had them for about 5 years now)

Basketball: DRose Adidas

Golf: Adidas

Not sure if I really have a ton of brand loyalty. Other than Adidas for athletic/running shoes.

At the moment:

Casual: Puma
Sandals (going out in the water): Teva
Everyday work shoes: Florsheim
Running: Adidas
Sport: Adidas turf shoes
