I grew up in the sticks, ticks were an everyday occurrence. I remember once when I was around 8 I went inside after playing in a leaf pile and when I took off my socks it looked like my skin was moving. Seed ticks.. lots of em. I counted them as I picked them off with tweezers. 113 of them..

What's funny is that for a good part of this winter... Atlanta was colder than Anchorage.

Anchorage was unseasonably warm this winter for some reason. Had a friend stationed up that way and he was living it up

Go hang out in St. Petersburg in the middle of winter. It's downright tropical.

Russia is not my cup of tea.
We did have a server last week that was very fresh from Russia. Maybe the best server that I've ever seen. Boyfriends mom, aunt, and grandmother were salivating over him. These are refined women too.
In all fairness he was pretty... and his accent was pretty too. I, being the youngest female, was the only one with any composure.
It was interesting.

Camping as a 9 year old in Mississippi after a canoe trip with family and family friends, ended up with one right on the ball sack somehow. Was way too embarrassed to ask for help so got tweezers and pulled it off. Hurt like a SOB for a week or so

I've had one in my ear and on my sac.. probably two of the worst places to get them. never had any other ones
