It just seems like something that if you are going to spend that much per drink, and were in a bar that had nice scotches, you would go for a single malt.

Now, I would pound the shite out of a bottle of blue at home. That shite is delicious.

I think I've had Glenfiddich and MacAllan, I'm just not a big scotch drinker.

Personally, I have no problem with red or black label JW on the rocks. Some people prefer to drink straight though, and blue is smooth.

Back to my original question though. Will I be able to call a cab early Monday morning after the first weekend of JF to get to MSY?

I was blowing cash that week. Must have spent 5 grand on absolute crappy decisions. It was the best mardi gras I ever had though

cab will work from airport to uptown and back to airport. How do you plan on getting to Mid City for Jazz Fest. Cab?

Doesn't matter unless you're staying way out of the city proper. I don't have a specific company to call, but where I stay when I'm down there has cabs going by frequently.

Eta: staying on St. Charles? If so...cab will be no problem.

The only time I've had difficulties getting a cab is trying to get uptown from the quarter late night during an event.

shuttle for jazzfest

Looks like you can take the shuttle from downtown or city park.

I once walked from Bourbon to Monkey Hill because of the Sugar Bowl. Horrible.

Im just kind of concerned because my flight is early Monday. Leave MSY at 8AM.

Staying at Rousseau and Felicity pretty much. One of my buddies will have a rental car, but I dont think we will use it much.

You'll be fine, just call a little bit ahead of time. There isn't a shortage of cabs in NOLA and they run all hours.
