Mad Men

How could I have forgotten Mad Men when it would definitely be #2 on my list ... if not number one.

Another case of a perfect cast in every regard.

Casts like that always run the risk of typecasting themselves because those roles are so perfect for them.

Been watching Hap & Leonard with the big breasted ginger and she's still her Mad Man character when I see her.

I think it could've moved to #1 if AMC hadn't of forced the split final season. It was built to slow burn and then explode and that element was taken away a bit by the split.

I loved the finale though. It's better on the rewatch too.

I've been trying to find a way to watch all of season 11 with Supernatural... Hulu has a few episodes, but not the ones at the beginning of the season. I'm on 219 so I don't want to skip around. 1-218 are on Netflix but I've seen them already.

Anyone know of a website with them?

Google Kodi best thing out there.

But you can also watch it here.
Make sure sure you have adblocker running though.

Band of Brothers

That one changed TV as much as anything .... but it was a mini series, not really a full blown series.

It was incredible though.

I actually met some of the real characters, including Dick Winters, at an Airborne reunion in Houston in 1982. They were not famous to the general public at the time .... but they were to us, in Paratrooper lore.

Colonel Winters was one of the most magnetic individuals I've ever met. He exuded leadership and his men still worshipped him even forty years later ... which I understand even more these days, nearly some 35 years after meeting so many of them.

Breaking Bad, The Wire, True Detective Season 1 (the best single season on all of television IMO)

Can you watch anything there? I'm about to ditch cable. For instance, could I stream a game?

I think they had to split it up ( Mad Men) to bring it to its reasonable conclusion ... and they did a good job of leaving it hanging with the idea that it will be resurrected in a major motion picture one day.

But I get what you're saying ... yet as convoluted as it got it was still incredible. Especially for those of us who remember the 60s so well.

The way they tied in every famous commercial to tell the story was brilliant.

My wife and I recently finished binge watching it, our second time, having watched it play out weekly the first time around ... and you're right, it is even better the second time.

Kodi is better than website pages you can get virus if you don't know what you doing do not install flash player update for any of the links if they ask. I would be safe and go with Kodi no viruses and bullshite.

Dammit ... lost track of that one after it dragged out in Season 2 - but now I may have to try to finish it if it wrapped up strong.

I was worried that it was heading down a Twin Peaks route.
