She knows how to sell her product. Can't fault her for knowing how to capitalize on her talent.
She doesn't seem disingenuous to me. She's a legit nerd and enjoys the music she does because it's part of who she is. No hate for that!

All jokes aside: I don't think she's disingenuous or even that bad -- she clearly has some talent. I really just can't look beyond LMFAO. If there is an embodiment of "Cheap, sellout, bullshite music", it's LMFAO.

I should've prefaced this conversation with: My mother is a musician (graduated from the University of Florida) and my grandmother teaches music for a living and is published so I may take music a little too seriously.

I think Mr. Solo's sentiment was that it's nice to have a lady cook for you sometimes and not that it sucks if you're a guy who cooks.

The husband doesn't cook, but he's great on the grill. My favorite is the pork tenderloin he makes.
ETA: he does make a pretty good chicken sauce piquante too.

Chocolate chess is pretty great.
I got my mom's regular chocolate pie recipe and I love that shite. Reminds me of childhood.
Plus, making meringue is hella fun!
