Oh yes, Sweetwater 420 is excellent, right up there with S.N. Pale Ale.

I must admit the Leinenkugel Summer Shandy is damn refreshing.

Left Hand Milk Stout

Love their Milk Stout Nitro.

I've been drinking a lot of 4 Hands recently. If you can get your hands on St. Louis beer, it's a great choice. They make a Chocolate Milke Stout that is killer. They've also got a Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout out right now that is solid. I had a 22 of that the other night and was not disappointed.

My wife gets me. Merry Christmas.

Covered all 3 of the "big 3" among quads. St. Bernardus abt 12, Rochefort 10 and, on the far right, the holy grail among many beer drinkers Westvleteren XII.

That Dragons Milk looks good. I may have to track that one down and give it a try.

Another vote for Bell's Two Hearted Ale, thought it is an IPA and may be a little bitter for a novice.

A good intro craft brew are Belgian Ales. Hoegaarden would be a good starter.

I've a co-worker that swears by it. I've slammed a lot of Founder's Breakfast Stout so far this winter and I hope it's similar.

I'll wait for a cold day and do a taste comparison on the quads. Looking forward to it.

Otra Vez is delicious!

Hops and bitter are over, it's all about sour/salty/funky these days.

Love me some sour beer. One of those beers in my prior post, the Lindemans lambic in the bomber, is a sour. Their Cuvée René is a very funky but awesome intro to the style and relatively easy to find.

Westbrook has spoiled me on the gose style. It's so salty and awesome that other beers of the style just haven't matched it for me.

You won't find any of these last two unless you go to Vermont

Ales are the best beers. Lagers tend to be, as a rule, slightly flavored water. I'm not a big fan of the soured beers or the white ales, but just about everything else is good - great.
