My wife (and eventually we) had a musk turtle. She had it since she was a little girl, her brother caught it in a creek.
It lived to be almost 30 years old, died last year. Donated body to UGA vet school, autopsy showed liver cancer.

Tigers are the true kings of the jungle. First off, they actually live in the jungle. Two, they are bigger/stronger/faster than lions. A tiger might not be able to beat a hippo or a saltwater croc in the actual water(although they aren't defenseless in the water), but on land, it's pretty much the most bad arse thing ever. Only thing that would stand a chance is a full grown male grizzly.
