What was your last week of school like in Intermediate or Middle School

So today basically starts the last week of school and we have the following
Today: Talent Show (I may need some Heroine for this one)
Monday: Merit Trips (I will need a gun and tasers)
Tuesday: Award assembly and Food Day (I may want to lace the guacamole for some of the children)
Wednesday: Movie Day and Last Day
I will use plenty of Coca Cola and Tylenol to help me get through the week without any migraines

I remember our class song and we did eat at a restaurant.

Beat up the kid that was teasing me all year,had the okay from my dad.I didn't get teased again through out school. It was a wonderful week.

Pretty somber. For the girls knew all the boys would be shipping off to Viet Nam in the coming weeks.

On the last day of seventh grade, there was a solar eclipse and my teacher gave us all pieces of cobalt glass to watch it through.
On the last day of eighth grade, a prisoner escaped from police custody when the cop stopped for gas at a station about a mile from the school. They put the school on lockdown and we spent all day in interior rooms with no windows watching movies and stuff.

I don't think you should be a teacher if a bunch of children having fun makes you ill.

I barely remember it. I think we had finals, a couple half days, and then a graduation dinner at a nearby fancy restaurant.

I seem to recall one of the last days of 4th grade involved a super soaker fight. I brought the biggest gun and meanest gun by a significant margin, but it was also the slowest to pump. I got ganged up on at first because they thought my water bazooka was going to be the most formidable. Then I got ganged up on when it was discovered I was the easiest target. I don't particularly recall the last week of 5th grade. Those were my two years at that intermediate school (the school also taught 3rd grade, but I was at a different elementary/primary school)
As far as Middle School, I just remember a bunch of semester tests and taking it easy. Either 7th or 8th grade, school lasted until June 1. It was the only time in my life I was ever in school during the month of June. Conversely, the last day of school my senior year was like April 22 or 23 or something like that. We took a class trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO a couple of weeks prior. I graduated May 5. Shortest year by quite a bit.

Pretty good, actually. Got recognized for my athletic ability at award assembly for the only time in my whole damn life (thanks Coach), then 9th grade day trip to Pontchartrain Beach amusement park. Everybody got sunburned as hell, then quite a bit of PG-rated action on the buses on the way back home that night. We all thought we were way cooler than we really were.
