San Angelo, TX
Angelo
real River City
Concho City
the Pearl of the Conchos
The Land of Sand and Jello
the Oasis of West Texas.
Wool and Mohair capital of the world
i grew up surrounded by cotton fields and here is my boys playing in them flooded recently. it's one of the highest cotton producing areas in the world.
And i've heard it said, but i don't know if it's true, that it's the largest city in the nation to not have an interstate running through it @ approximately 100k people with no major highways. it's said, nobody goes through San Angelo, just to it.

Didn't know that.
San Angelo was cool. Aggiebelle and I would rejoice if we got stationed back at Goodfellow AFB in the future.
I miss Zero One Ale House
