I'm looking to upgrade some of the tech at my office. Just interested in what other people use and find helpful. I think my goals are to cut down on paper and try to have digital copies of most everything. I'd also like to get more organized. I've considered using one of these credit card swiping systems but not real sure it's worth it.

What gadgets do yall find most useful? TIA

I have no idea what line of work you're in, but I use a laptop, docking stations with 21 inch monitors (one at home and one in office), an iPad, and a mifi.

I have a $25000 firewall in my office. It's a pretty cool gadget.

And I have one of the devices that would basically employ the idea of what net neutrality blocked against a network.

My go go gadget arms are great for getting snacks from the top shelf in the break room.

Depending on the type of work you do, a Wacom tablet could help you reduce paper and easily convert everything to a digital format. I do a lot of digital artwork and sketching and I have totally eliminated the need for paper and rendering tools by using a Wacom Cintiq 24HD. It is basically a touch screen monitor that works as a huge digital piece of paper and it comes with a pressure sensitive stylus that is incredibly precise.

It is a pretty cool piece of tech if you need something that hardcore, otherwise an advanced tablet could do essentially the same job for you in regards to paper waste and digital conversion.
