Anyone on welfare should be required to take birth control in order to receive benefits. Women should have to get shots. Men too - and I believe that yes, they know how to produce birth control shots for men, they just don't because of low demand. Don't show up for the shot, don't get a check. Have all the kids you want; when you can afford them.

And pass a drug test....if you can afford drugs, you don't need my tax dollars

I believe that providing welfare and entitlements to the poor and uneducated will ultimately bring about the demise of society as a whole, not only financial destruction but moral destruction as well.

It is anti natural selection to care for those people and only allows a problem to expand by not allowing the weak and unproductive to die off early. I believe no sympathy should be shown to them and let the strong live and weak die, otherwise you'll end up overpopulated with more unproductive idiots than productive educated ones, as the former group tends to reproduce faster than the latter group due to the inability to make responsible decisions.

That if we're going to tie teacher's jobs to test scores, then maybe we should tie welfare to parental participation/performance. Miss multiple special education meetings for you child? Buh bye disability check. Fail to keep in regular contact with your kid's teachers? Buh bye WIC.

That and a kid with "documented" ADHD shouldn't qualify for a disability check.

Multiple suspensions for formerly "zero tolerance" offenses (i.e. drugs, weapons on campus, assaulting a teacher)? Forget 12 weeks of "alternative school". You can spend the rest of your education taking eCourses from home. Don't have an internet connection? Here's the directions to your local library.

Actually now that I think about it my most controversial opinion is probably the belief that if you lie about being raped, and there's sufficient evidence that you lied, you should have charges brought against you for it.

If two consenting adults have a relationship and the woman gets pregnant, the father should get a say in what happens to his child. If the woman's life is not in danger, it's not a case of rape and the baby will be healthy, then the father should have to sign off on an abortion being performed. If the woman doesn't want to have the child but the father does, then he should have to sign a legal document saying he will take care of the child primarily and if he fails at his responsibilities in any way, he goes to jail for a MINIMUM of 10 years.

I don't see how this is particularly controversial, given that it can and has happened before and most people (hopefully) would agree.
